Transcription: Effective though my new pulley system was, the islanders were singularly unimpressed. Without their rope and wheel device, it was almost impossible for them to move their heavy statues up the hill. I was usually unmoved by the islanders' complaints as they seemed to have a strong aversion to work, especially when it was associated with my second great work. However, in this case, I felt I should give them some help. Despite having used all the available wheels in the construction of my flippers, I soon found a particularly lazy mammoth to stand in as a substitute.
